Devon Rex Characteristics and Temperament
The Devon Rex is a small to medium cat with a light but muscular body. Its triangular head with prominent cheekbones, enormous low-set ears and large oval eyes give it a pixie-like appearance. Its short coat is wavy, curly and slightly rough. The Devon Rex is extraordinarily playful, affectionate and comical — often called a "monkey cat" for its ability to climb everywhere, including human shoulders.
In apartments in Montreal, Laval or Gatineau, the Devon Rex is an ideal companion. Sensitive to cold, it is made for indoor life. It gets along wonderfully with children, other cats and dogs. With a life expectancy of 12 to 15 years, the Devon Rex transforms every day into a joyful adventure for Quebec families.
